We will be announcing the Finalists of this year’s Business Culture Awards live at this event. Around 70 organisations have taken part, so come and learn which initiatives have had the biggest impact on business culture and performance this year.

Chris Preston

Founder & Director, The Culture Builders

UKTV faced a cultural and commercial crisis in 2010. The lure of the rapidly growing digital sector meant that the business wasn’t attracting or retaining talent. A partnership with The Culture Builders, instigated by the new CEO, heralded a wholesale transformation. Hear the steps that were taken to create a high-performance culture and how this has yielded record engagement levels and operating profit.

The Culture Builders were winners of the Business Culture Consultancy Award 2017.

Sam Jackson

Head of HR Shared Services, Mencap

Learning disabilities charity Mencap operate within a highly competitive sector, where attracting and retaining employees, whose attributes align with the organisation’s values, is a major challenge. Sam will share how the team were able to successfully engage managers across 600 locations, with new ways of working and a unique approach to the attraction and selection of talent.

Royal Mencap Society were winners of the Business Culture Team Award 2017.

Ali Stripling

Senior Manager, Corporate Volunteers & Engagement, Arm

Technology company Arm boasts thousands of employees across 40 worldwide locations. With this large and disparate workforce, the challenge was to achieve a common sense of purpose, community and collaboration. Ali will show how ‘TeamArm’ has strengthened relationships and increased engagement, whilst addressing important societal issues such as inspiring younger generations–especially girls–into Tech.
Arm were winners of the Business Culture CSR Award 2016.
