Peer-Learning Network
Giving members a safe space to connect and share ideas and solutions around current challenges
Today’s complex and fast-evolving business landscape makes ongoing change and transformation an imperative for organisations to stay relevant and competitive. It is also making the work of people, culture and change leaders more demanding than ever, as they constantly step into new and unchartered territory, for example sourcing new skills to meet business needs, or navigating AI and other technologies.
We hear of similar challenges from many of the leaders we speak to. Therefore, Business Culture Connected convenes a Peer-Learning network to support leaders and organisations going through transformation and change; guiding them on how to build an enabling culture; to increase the change capability and readiness of their people; and increase the likelihood that desired changes are delivered successfully.
This network gives senior in-house practitioners a safe space to connect and share ideas and solutions around current challenges, with like-minded professionals from across diverse sectors. The network hosts quarterly, in-person, group meetings focussed on a particular topic or theme. A Chatham House Rules-style discussion is introduced and led by an experienced facilitator.

What and When?
Leaders and teams are facing a relentless amount of change, from advances in technology to volatile global markets. It's demanding a more agile mindset and behaviours; enabling performance while reducing stress. Agility isn’t just about speed - it’s about fostering a culture where experimentation, collaboration, and continuous learning thrive. This session will focus on new research and a whitepaper hot off the press.
Discussion Points:
• Change readiness in leaders and the workforce
• Enablers and barriers to agility
• Transforming cultures to support agility
• Trust and psychological safety
• Frameworks for collaboration
• Balancing pace, performance and wellbeing
Organisations are increasingly dependent on a blended, multi-generational and geographically dispersed workforce to deliver on their strategy and employees must embrace an unprecedented level of change. Amidst this fragmentation, a purposeful, cohesive, vibrant culture can be the glue driving talent attraction, engagement and retention. Do we have the essential ingredients to create and sustain an exceptional culture and how do we engage everyone with this?
Discussion Points:
• Leading with Purpose
• Trust and “speaking up”
• Employee engagement and retention
• EVP and talent attraction
• Frontline, remote/hybrid, contingent workers
The workplace is quickly evolving to require new skills and greater resilience from our employees. Some will adapt with ease. For others we are seeing an impact on wellbeing, attrition and with that business stability. Attraction and retention of individuals with the right skills is difficult, particularly while creating and sustaining greater diversity. We need to examine aspects such as job design, workflow management, manager support and coaching, to successfully reorient our people.
Discussion Points:
• Change management
• Upskilling and reskilling
• Employee retention
• Wellbeing and resilience
• Coaching and mentoring
Leaders and teams are inundated with data and it’s hard to identify the right measurements to focus on. We need quality over quantity to ensure that the data we gather leads to actionable insights; rather than overwhelming us with numbers at best, and burn-out at worst. It’s essential for leaders to identify the metrics that align most closely with their objectives, and which will steer them towards continuous improvement. This session will delve into ways to select the most impactful measurements and empower the team to prioritise, in order to transform data into a strategic asset.
Discussion Points:
• Aligning KPIs with data for strategic decision-making
• Avoiding analysis paralysis
• Enhancing data literacy among teams
• Effectively tracking ROI of key programmes and activities
• Integrating qualitative insights with quantitative data
• Isolating and evaluating the direct impact of culture and engagement programmes
Driving innovation through robotics and AI is paramount for staying ahead and driving efficiency and innovation. But with new developments happening at pace, it’s a challenge to keep abreast of it all and prioritise what action to take and when. Maintaining people’s trust and engagement while deploying new solutions is also challenging, along with ensuring that staff learn new skills needed by the business, when these are required. We'll share real-world examples of AI and robotics in the fields of people and culture, along with the transformative impact these are having. Members will have the opportunity to share their own experiences, with solutions they have assessed or implemented.
Discussion Points:
• Discovering AI & Robotics in action
• Creating and maintaining tech-forward strategies
• Identifying the right time to act
• Upskilling and reskilling our people
• Maintaining trust and engagement during implementation
