Awards Night 2023
The Business Culture Awards Dinner took place on Wednesday 15th November at the DeVere Grand Connaught Rooms, London. It was an unmissable evening of celebration and laughter for the teams who attended. Finalists were able to connect with other like-minded professionals with a keen interest in innovative workplace culture approaches. Guests enjoyed an exquisite drinks reception and three course dinner, an awards ceremony hosted by top-class compere Lucy Porter and a live band. There were also a number of quieter networking spaces for those who preferred.

Dress Code - As part of our celebration theme, we'd love for you to forget what others’ expectations are for how you should appear for a professional event in London and come along based upon how you would most comfortably dress for a celebratory evening event. In the West End, De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms is one of London’s most impressive, stylish and opulent event venues. Situated in Covent Garden, the Grand Connaught Rooms features the iconic Grand Hall, a sophisticated Champagne Bar, the indulgent Tempus Restaurant and is a stunning, sought after venue delivering a real wow factor. De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms has a history dating back to 1775 when the venue was home to a Free Mason's tavern before becoming a hotel in 1909.

Compere Lucy Porter & Live Music
Comedian Lucy Porter is an actress, writer, presenter and comedian, known for her distinctive, bouncy, feel-good comedy. She has regularly performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Festival and throughout the UK and also continues to travel internationally with her stand up. Lucy is a well-known face and voice on TV and radio panel shows, appearing on shows including Eastenders, Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, and The Radcliffe & Maconie Show. She remains amongst the most sought-after comedy writers in Britain, with Radio 4 commissioning her drama series and ITV casting her as one of the lead writers on the prime-time series Headcases. Lucy has more recently moved into the world of film.
For the night's live musical entertainment, we’re excited to be unveiling a band to get you out of your seats ready to party with an array of Pop, Funk & Soul hits! The Compilation are an exciting & energetic party band with a broad repertoire spanning all eras from the 60s to the present day. They cover best selling artists from Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, White Stripes, Stevie Wonder & many, many more.

We have a number of designated quieter spaces at the venue (Burr & Co and The Snug) and a prayer space (Hospitality Suite), all available throughout the evening. See the floorplan ahead of the event, or ask a member of staff to direct you. Those who wish to pray are asked to please bring their own prayer mats. You can see the venue's disabled access information here too. Please do get in touch if you would like to attend but would need to arrive later. Finally, we'll check about any special dietary requests when you confirm your booking and appreciate that while some enjoy alcohol, others prefer not.
