Conference Sessions
Dr Rebecca Newton will consider the latest developments on coaching to equip leaders with sustainable practices and create systemic connections. This session will examine coaching methodologies that enable both collective uplift across the organisation and personal growth for leaders.
We will discuss:
- The latest evidence into the impact of coaching including on well-being, confidence, managing pressure and leading change
- Practical strategies to ensure you optimise coaching opportunities and maximise impact
- Using data insights from coaching to identify priorities and strategically drive development.
Join us for an enlightening conversation as Coretta and Benita dive into the essential behavioural and mindset shift leaders must embrace to foster a truly purposeful, inclusive and positive coaching, mentoring and supervision culture. Drawing on decades of experience, they’ll share valuable insights into cultivating purposeful, inclusive environments that promote growth and collaboration. Together, we'll explore the values, attitudes, and underlying biases shaping today’s leadership landscape and learn why moving beyond command and control is critical to building a culture of genuine support and empowerment. Discover practical strategies for leaders committed to positive, lasting change and enjoy the opportunity to consider new ways to enable a strong coaching, mentoring and supervision culture.
Victoria Lewis and Richard Thompson, Founders of Odyssey Consulting Ltd, will share their insights gained from developing thousands of leaders across the globe, into why a coaching approach as part of a holistic, whole growth-centred leadership development journey is critical to a return on investment and strategic alignment.
Through this practical discussion we’ll consider what an effective, outcome focused and “leader led” development journey could look like:
- Using coaching as part of a qualitative discovery based exercise to identify existing cultural drivers and norms and analysing any cultural gaps which may prevent the execution of strategic goals;
- Using coaching as part of a targeted, data driven leadership development programme with both one to one thinking partnerships, group coaching and peer to peer coaching learning cohorts to create accountability and drive lasting behavioural and cultural change;
- Using coaching to identify and analyse appropriate and relevant metrics to measure return on investment at regular intervals.
